My First Blog - Me, Me, Me

Firstly I’d like to introduce myself. I go by the name Rishi. I do like Rish for a nickname but unfortunately it never sticks, maybe this blog will change that?... I’m an IT student at Lancaster University (fun I know) and am from Salford in the United Kingdom where I’ve lived all my life so far. I am born from Indian parents so a bit of the culture is in my background, but i’m also very British in many instances.

My character varies to different people. Some people know as me quite, some know me as cheery-Rishi and some unfortunately know me as an annoying brother who sings in their face and gets too giddy sometimes. If I could choose, I would be happy, cheerful and positive everyday, and I do try my utmost hardest to be and it works. Positivity is what makes the world go round. We must acknowledge the negativity but not dwell on it.

I don’t know why I decided to start blogging. It’s really something I just ‘feel’ like doing. I don’t want this to be all about me, that’s why I’m getting it all over and done with. I can’t really describe what I want to write about, but I’ll know it :)

It could be about my interests, something I want feedback on or something I just want to write about, we’ll see. I’m doing this so I have something to work on and can call my own, something to perfect in my spare time. I aim for this blog to allow me to share comments, opinions and interests with each other. It’s about me but taking you with me on my little journey.

This is my first blog so be gentle :). So here I am on my trusty MacBook scouring the Internet on how I could start my blog with a bang. I thought I’d kick off with a blog that gives you a taste of my personality, so you can understand some of my posts a bit more. It may turn out to be everything I want it to be, you may believe it’s nothing special, or it could be something I start but never continue… Time will tell.

Here's one of my favourite songs of all time:

  2. Commented on the wrong post! But yeah History is amazing... If we were there to see it, it wouldn't mean as much to us. Everyday you create your own history, you don' realise till you look back :)
